Has anyone ever heard of a Troy Ounce Silver "Lincoln Penny"?
I seen one for sale on eBay, But can't find out any other information on this coin.
It's dated 1988, and on the back, it has the wheat stalks with the writing "one Troy Ounce silver .999 fine"
Hi. I'm a coin dealer in the Midwest. What this is...is a generic one troy ounce Silver Round-it's not a coin; it's just a coin-shaped One Ounce piece of Pure Silver. A couple of different refiners made these to have appeal to coin collectors who want to throw back some silver as an investment. It's basically only worth what the market price for silver happens to be (currently about $10 or so). If you are considering buying it, don't pay more than about $11.50-$12 or so for it in today's market.
Hope this info helped.

US $421.00
