Coin Rounds

Does it make you mad when the waitress or waiter keeps the coin part of the change?
When it happens to me I often let that be the person's tip. It burns me up when they seem to think they are entitled to my money.
If the person rounds off the tip in my favor I tip very well or if they bring it all back I tip pretty well (usually over 20%)
Tips probably does not stand for To Insure Prompt Service. More than likely it is more like a stock tip, meaning a little more.
That's not good service.
A server should always assume that the guest wants change.
It's a basic rule, and it would definitely make me mad.
